In addition to the welfare of the members of theorganization, the Construction Workers Supervisors’ Association aims to do something for those who deserves help in society.
History
The Construction Workers Supervisors’ Association (CWSA) was formed on 21st September, the Samadhi of Sri Narayana Guru. This organization is the association of the masons and workers in the construction work of the state.This organization functions within the ideals of Sri Narayana Guru. Caste,religion and politics do not always come into the activities of the organization and the social welfare activities.
Our Objectives & Goals
Concrete Supplementation Construction works in the construction sector for the conduction of the contract and supervision system for the people who have a common venue and work with the community will need to fix a uniformly rewarded number for their construction activities.
To coordinate the members, take Collective action and get together of families in adverse conditions.
Avoid unhealthy competition between the members.
To plan and implement plans to help those suffering from the community
Take action to avail a government certified certificate to the members
Try to get the benefits from the government for the victims in accident. Ensuring site insurance and protection for members.Ensure representation of CWSA in the Construction Welfare Board.
Activities for the development of culture and art
To unveil the plans and schemes for the welfare of the members and to help the government for this.

Formation and Conferences of State & District Committees
The first meeting was held at the public library at Thokkilangadi by a group of nine persons led by Koothuparambil K Rajan of Kannur district. At a meeting attended by about 40 members on September 10, the Concrete Workers Supervisors Association decided to act as a group. The work was centered in Kannur district and the organization grew and on 21 September 1998 the Registrar of Concrete Workers Supervisors Association was registered. (C.W.S.A Reg: S.185 / 98)
Koothuparambu region was formed with the mason’s membership in Panur and Chokli areas. V. Sasi President, T. K. Vasu Vice President, V. Raveendran Vice President, K. Rajan Secretary,K K. Chandranjoint Secretaryand K Raveendranjoint SecretaryChakkarakkal-Kannur areas began to function as a result of the functioning of the above. The Kannur district committee was formed to promote the organization’s activities in other areas. K. Rajan President, T. K. VasuMokeri Vice President, ChandranPannyanoor Secretary, T. K. KarunanPatyamVice President , RaveendranMooryad Jo. Secretary RaveendranChokliSecretary, V SurendranPalloorKhajanji, O. RamesanAmbiladu member also became the office bearers.
This has spread in all the regions of Kannur District since 1998and the neighboring district of Kasaragodled byM.P Kunjiraman. Then we were working in Wayanad and Kozhikkode districts and over the work in Kannur DistrictIn 2002, the first conference of the state formation was held at the Navaneetham Auditorium. The first state president was Rajanmason andA.Preman selected as secretary. The first state conference welcoming committee chairman PavithraSagar (P.W.D Executive Engineer) led the conference.
After the first state conference, the organization was formed in Malappuram district as a result of other district activities. The first organizational meeting in Thrissur district was formed in 2005 as a result of the activities in Malappuram District. Thrissur district was formed in 2007 under the operation.
The third state conference was held at Vadakara Krishna KripaAuditorium on the basis of the Kozhikode operation.
The fourth State conference was held at MES College Auditorium at Valancherry, Malappuram District. The conference has strengthened the Malappuram district activities.
The fifth state conference was held in the Thrissur District at the SenitoryHall. Participation of a number of cultural activists in Kerala was a great success. Conference welcoming committee chairman, famous poet V.Ravunni Sir’s performance was excellent.
The work of Malappuram district is very valuable for Palakkad district activities. The sixth State Conference was held at TMMahal Auditorium, Palakkad. The organizational bay amended the Palakkad conference and decided to change the name of the existing concrete workers to the Construction Workers Supervisors Association.
SOCIAL WELFARE ACTIVITIES
We started this project in 2008. P S Prakasan, the iritty area president was first introduced this concept in the organization. Everyone in the association agreed his concept without any objection.
